Before jailbreak
We recommend that you make a backup before proceeding to jailbreak, just in case something goes wrong. Remind you that from the Taig team itself assure that supports iOS 8.0 to iOS 8.2 beta on the following devices:
- iPhone 4s, iPhone 5, iPhone 5s, iPhone 5c, iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus
- iPad 4, iPad mini, iPad mini 2, mini iPad 3, iPad, iPad Aire, Aire iPad 2
- iPod touch 5G
If you're not in the iOS version 8.1.1, you should update to the latest firmware supports using iTunes, if you do not update via iTunes remember to do a backup after the upgrade.
How to Jailbreak with TAIG
Step 1 . Download the latest version of the TAIG tool from website to your computer, then unzip in a folder.
Step 2 . Go to tools on your iPhone, in Touch ID and Code, Tools> Touch ID and code. Disables the lock code.
Step 3 . In tools go to iCloud, Tools> iCloud> Find My iPhone, be sure to disable get my iPhone.
Step 4 . Connect your iPhone via USB to your computer, launch iTunes and make a manual backup if you had not done previously, it is important to make a backup in case of any failure in the process of jailbreak.
Step 5 . Open TaiGJBreak is the .exe you've extracted from the downloaded .zip.
Step 6 . The program will detect the device, deselect the check, to not install the Taig App Store.
Step 7 . The program will start the jailbreak process.
Step 8 . Once the process is complete you will see a green smiley face, your iPhone will reboot and you should have the Cydia application.
With these steps you will have done the jailbreak on your device.
