If you know the news of iOS 8.1.1 , you will know that this update promised to improve the performance of the iPhone 4s and iPad 2. These are the two most limited in terms of hardware devices where you can install iOS 8 and as has become usual in such cases, its performance is inferior to that obtained with IOS 7.
The table in this post is a comparative test of the time it takes to open different applications on an iPhone 4S or iPad 2 with iOS 7.1.2, iOS 8 Golden Master and iOS 8.1.1. So we can see that the improvement brought on iOS 8.1.1 is minimal, bordering on the ridiculous in most cases.
Is it faster? Yes, but we're talking about hundredths of seconds that go unnoticed in real life. The case in which more should be noted that performance increase is in the ignition and as we can see in the table, we have gone from 39.8 seconds to 38.2 seconds.
