Why Touch ID stops working after restarting the iPhone?

Why Touch Touch ID ID stops working after restarting the iPhone?

Now that Touch ID has strengthened its presence after the arrival of the iPhone 6 and the new generation of iPads, you might wonder a few things about this Apple fingerprint.

If you own any of the devices equipped with "Touch ID", surely you've noticed that after a reboot, you must enter the lock code that we have established to reuse. Why is this?

Basically this is a security measure , annoying but useful for us to prevent unauthorized access to information representing mathematical access to our tracks. The support website of the iPhone 5s have more information about this topic which is also applicable to the iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, iPad 2 and iPad Mini Air 3:

Touch ID does not store any images of your fingerprints; only stores a mathematical representation of it. It is impossible to reverse engineer the image of your real fingerprint from this mathematical representation. iPhone 5s also incorporates a new advanced security architecture called Secure Enclave within the A7 chip, which was developed to protect data codes and fingerprints. The data traces are encrypted and protected by a key which is only available for Secure Enclave. These data Secure Enclave used only to check that your fingerprint matches fingerprint data registered. Secure Enclave is isolated from the rest A7 processor and iOS. Therefore, neither iOS nor any app access data in your footsteps, and these are stored on Apple's servers nor a backup of them in iCloud or anywhere else is done. Touch ID uses only, and may not be used to make associations with other databases of fingerprints.

It seems that after a reboot, Secure Enclave locks automatically and needs to be unlocked manually after a restart, which involves introducing the four-digit code that introduce on Touch ID to configure our device.
